what is audiotex?
Audiotex is the process in which a telephone call is answered by an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system / platform, the call is charged at a premium over and above the normal tariff, and this premium is allocated between the national PTT and the Service Provider according to the agreement between the two parties. The remaining premium – after the PTT ‘s revenue sharing – is then allocated between the parties involved in each separate service i.e. Service Provider, Information Provider, Content Provider, Media, etc. – the WIN – WIN model since all the parties involved are paid on a revenue sharing basis according to the agreement between the parties.
