Further to the above Golden Telemedia has launched to the public Speech Direct, the first Cyprus/Greek language Voice Portal service, and one of the few that have already been deployed in Europe.
By simply dialing into the portal, using the premium rate number, and using a standard phone or cell phone, callers can access the portal information by voice. Once connected to the service, callers are provided with the menu and asked to select the service they want by saying their choice. The voice portal’s speech technology understands these spoken commands, accesses the service required and then provides an immediate answer in the Cypriot language. |
