SMS Alerts

British Council wanted an application through which every candidate that registered to take any examinations under the British Council would be notified on their mobile phone with all the details of their registration.

British Council’s web server was connected with Golden Telemedia’s SMS Platform, and through the service of SMS Alerts, the notifications are send to the candidates. By registering on to British Council’s system, the candidate automatically receives a unique sms alert including the candidate’s number, cost for the examinations, and date of examinations.

The service runs 24hours per day, 7 days a week providing candidates with useful information about their registration while reducing the cost of phone calls and staff that would be required to conduct candidates.

BULK SMS

The British Council, through Golden Telemedia’s Bulk SMS Platform www.goldentelemedia.com/themmapps communicates with its candidates regarding potential changes of the dates and times of examinations, reminders about the payment of fees, as well as any other information regarding special events.

Golden Telemedia’s Bulk SMS Platform, allows British Council to send customized messages, including candidates Name & Surname, to program the messages in advance for specific dates and times.
